Oh, wild love
what have ye brought me
Except misery and pain
Your promises in spring
So hollow in fall
So cold in winter
So pure –
the immortal Gods
weep in your presence
Once touched by your love
Once yearned in your heart
There is no way back
And the sun will set
Without a care
In the world
You will be there
experiencing the presence
of your insignificance
my love
Have we, humans
not reached our arms towards
the heavens enough times?
May it be, that God
chooses not to save those
who need it most?
We wave our hands
in tender goodbyes
whose scars remain
a lifetime
And no drugs, no sex,
no morphine, no heroine,
no one
can ever make us
whole again
